This retro timeless yarn dyed linen is such a wonderful fabric, it has such a warmth to it, and when you add burlap, it's just that much better!
This is a double layered valance with burlap and cotton fabric. The burlap has that burlap smell but over time dissipates.
Bottom Layer: 100% jute burlap
Top Layer: yarn dyed 55% linen 45% cotton

Burlap: This is a natural textile and shades can vary from bolt to bolt

Sizing:
As a rule 2 times fullness is the least amount of fullness you would want to get a nice look.
So this window valance works great for most single windows. You can order 2 for double windows and shear them together on same rod
Burlap Linen and Cotton Stripe are perfectly imperfect there may be nubs and a random color threads running through them adding to the natural imperfections.
I have my burlap cut leaving a manufactured edge to help with fraying which is also the nature of burlap...Also on some occasions I will put mod podge on ends to keep from fraying if the manufactured edge is lacking. Please don't be alarmed if you see an occasional little strand... I do close all seams tightly to alleviate raveling
